SLOONK

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings and services provided by Sloonk. By confirming a booking with Sloonk, the Client agrees to the following terms.

1. Bookings

Submitting a booking request through sloonk.com does not automatically confirm a reservation. A booking is only confirmed once Sloonk has confirmed availability, the event details and final price have been agreed, and the required booking payment has been received.

2. Payment

A booking payment of 30% of the total agreed price is required to confirm the event and reserve the selected date. The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 3 days before the event. For bookings made within 7 days of the event, Sloonk may request payment of the full amount at the time of confirmation.

3. What is included

The agreed price applies to the specific event details confirmed with the Client, including the selected package, location, duration and requirements. Depending on the selected package, the service may include DJ performance, music curation, sound system, ambient lighting, setup, pack-down and travel within the agreed area. Any additional services, equipment, travel requirements or extended performance time may be charged separately and will always be communicated in advance.

4. Changes to the booking

The Client should inform Sloonk as soon as possible of any significant changes to the event, including the location, start or finish time, number of guests, event format or technical requirements. Changes are subject to availability and may result in an adjustment to the final price. Changes of date cannot be guaranteed and are subject to Sloonk's availability.

5. Cancellations

Because each booking reserves a specific date and time for the Client, cancellations may result in the following charges:
  • More than 30 days before the event: the 30% booking payment is retained.
  • Between 15 and 30 days before the event: 50% of the total booking value may be due.
  • 14 days or less before the event: the full booking value may be due.
Where possible, Sloonk may agree to transfer the booking to another available date.

6. Outdoor events and weather

For outdoor events, the Client is responsible for providing a safe and adequately protected area for the DJ and all electrical and audio equipment. Sloonk equipment must not be exposed to rain, excessive moisture or any condition that may damage the equipment or create a safety risk.

7–9. Event details

The complete text for sections 7–9 will be added here. Please send the missing part if you have it.

10. Sound levels

Sloonk will provide sound appropriate to the size and nature of the event. The Client is responsible for ensuring that the event complies with venue rules, local restrictions and any applicable noise regulations. Sloonk may reduce the volume or stop amplified music where required by the venue or relevant authorities.

11. Equipment

All equipment provided by Sloonk remains the property of Sloonk. The Client should take reasonable steps to prevent guests from interfering with, moving or damaging the equipment. The Client may be held responsible for damage caused intentionally or negligently by the Client or their guests, excluding normal wear and tear.

12. Music curation

Sloonk provides music curation according to the musical direction agreed with the Client. Musical preferences are treated as guidance rather than a guarantee that specific tracks will be played. The DJ retains reasonable artistic discretion to adapt the music to the atmosphere and progression of the event.

13. Photography and content

Sloonk will not assume permission to photograph or film guests for promotional purposes. Any identifiable photo or video content intended for Sloonk's communication or promotion should be agreed separately.

14. Force majeure

Neither Sloonk nor the Client will be responsible for failure to perform their obligations where this results from circumstances outside their reasonable control. Where possible, both parties should make reasonable efforts to find an alternative solution, including rescheduling the event.

15. Liability

Sloonk will provide its services with reasonable care and professionalism. To the extent permitted by law, Sloonk will not be responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Client. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Personal data

Personal information provided to Sloonk is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
